Wearing Multi Length Necklaces

I love necklaces and I'm really loving the multi-length look and will be wearing it this fall with my vintage dresses. Soo...I went on a necklace shopping frenzy/binge by purchasing a ridiculously amount of necklaces from Forever21 ( i could not help it, they're so cheap and pretty). And, I found this insightful article on LuckyMag.com on how to wear them.

Chains and Jeweled Bib Necklaces
The chains toughed up the jewels, making them less big-evening-out dressy-----what would be a night look turns into something perfect for day.

Mixing Metals and Motifs

Stars and flowers work together because they feel whimsical and fun. The combo is also a great subtle way to try the floral trend, if a full-on print dress isn't quite your thing. And, yes, you can mix gold with silver.

Jewels with Jewels

Contrast stark, clear gems with black onyx, you can also
match brights with brights, or mix different tones of the same
shade....any complementary color combo will do. Just make sure that the necklaces you use are of varying lenghts.

I really like this look < - --, the black with the pearls look so classy. Which look will you be trying??

U*P*D*A*T*E

I haven't update my blog because I really need someone to take my pictures. I've picked up some COOL thrift pieces from jewelry, purses, to vintage dresses, to a Micheal Jackson inspired red studded crop jacket/vest...that I paired with some highwaisted cream trousers and a cream blouse....it was HOT!!! Although, I always liked vintage...I never really wore vintage clothes but I think my look this fall will be vingtage inspired with a touch of modern edge...stay tuned!! Also I wanted to share my latest purchase. I have been looking everywhere (thrift store and online) for the right pair of boots to wear with my dresses this fall....LOOK what I found!?! I am too too happy!! Ok, calm down Miss C, it's not that serious....well sort of. By Jeffrey Campbell and were $150. They're an updated look to the vintage granny boots.

IT'S ALL IN THE DETAILS

It's been hectic around here lately...but I managed to snap some pics. When I'm shopping I like to find an article of clothing that has unique details. So when I saw this dress on Tuelle, I couldn't pass it up. Oh and the fact that it was on sale didn't hurt either..he-he. I love shirtdresses!! This one has that vintage look to it, with the side pockets and the length of this dress made me feel like such a lady. I love the shoes too but I went shopping in them and my feet were KILLING ME!! Oh the things we do for cuteness.....

See, those three little yellow buttons?? DETAILS!! I love it..

REWIND!!!

Well, I'm still learning the Ins and Outs of my digi cam and here are a few pics that I hadn't loaded yet. This is the dress from Cutesy.com that I bought. I love how it is so girly and puffs out at the bottom. Sorry, guys I had to snap these pics myself and couldn't get a close up of the details of the dress. The top part of the dress is like a corset...

Dress: Cutesygirl $26
Shoes: BCBG $40
Crop Jacket: Unknown; just a lil cheap jacket I picked up for $12 in juniors dept at a discount store.

Tank: Target $7
Gray Skinny Jeans: throwback from last year
Shoes: Are you ready for this?... $3.00. Yes, three bucks on sale. Brand Delicious.

ETA: I have since sold those shoes to a place that resales clothing. They were cute but I wasn't too crazy about them.
Ladies, I have picked up some cute vintage clothes from the Goodwill over the 4th of July weekend...everything in the store was 50% off. I will be sharing those finds as soon as I can take a pic and upload. My internet speed is sooooo slow...URGH!!!

Remember that dress I'd ordered.....Here it is!!

I was surprised how EXTREMELY cute this dress is on!! This picture does it NO JUSTICE!!. I had to immediately order this in the pink color as well. It has a full tulle skirt underneath it and I looked like a little doll when I wore it. I need a camera man because I can not get a good full length picture by myself. How do you fashionista's do it?? Anyhoo..I'm the type of person that must try on ALL my clothes when I'm out shopping, so buying clothes off the Net was something I had never done until recently. (..and by the way I can't stop now...) Normally, I would buy purses, shoes, accessories, etc., but NEVER clothes. I'm glad I decided to give it a try and it worked...he-he!

SHOE FETISH...

Okay. I lovvvve shoes!! They are my weakness. But they must be on sale or I must REALLY can't live without them in order to pay full price. I just received these in the mail today from Ninewest...

The peeptoe boots/sandals were originally $110, I got them for....$35!! Now the cream pair were orig. $69 but I got those for $42. The cream pair has a vintage look to them, but the ankle strap part fits too snug for me...so I think I may return them to the store. Aw., they were sooo cute and comfy too!!
